For the first assignment in my photography class (after learning what exposure is), we're supposed to take five pictures on the theme of architecture (themes chosen each week by the students). I walked around UBC taking pictures. I like this one. I've given up not making adjustments in photoshop: if it can be improved, why not improve it? But I am nevertheless trying to get closer to the finished product with the camera itself (which means, for now, trying to figure out how to get good exposure in the first place). So, I adjusted the levels on this one but I was happy with the overall exposure.

EXIF

Capture Date: 2009-10-01 20:47:47
Camera: NIKON D5000
Focal Length: 34 mm
Exposure: 1/250 sec
Aperture: f/6.3
ISO: 500

  • That's wonderful. I'd be more than happy to have taken that...
