Rainforests

This may not be the world's best photograph. But upon returning from the trip and seeing these early photos, I am shocked by the lushness. The coast really is rainforest: rich, lush, thick vegetation. When I look at this photo, I want to jump into those forests as if onto a big featherbed pillow (albeit a featherbed pillow inhabited by grizzly bears). Most of the rest of the trip (you'll see soon) is through more arid terrain. This photo is between Squamish and Whistler on Hwy 99: the second day.
